What it means

No Nut November (NNN) is a tongue-in-cheek internet challenge in which participants pledge to abstain from masturbation for the whole of November. Every year on November 1 the memes start, mostly jokes about giving up almost immediately.

The 2026 day-one example on MemeStand shows a hand reaching out of the dark, captioned "me during NNN (I'm married to an amazing and beautiful woman)," a joke that the rules don't fit someone who is married.

Origin

According to Know Your Meme, an Urban Dictionary entry defined "No Nut November" on November 3, 2011, and the challenge spread widely on Twitter, Reddit and 4chan from November 2017, after which it became a yearly meme.

The 2026 post MemeStand ranked, "I can't do it, gents. Have fun getting superpowers.", was posted to r/dankmemes by u/SpectrumSense on October 31, 2026 (Pacific Time) and reached #3 on the subreddit's top posts of the day.
